Have advertised my 996 Carrera 4 Cabriolet on here but not sure if I'm asking too much. It's a fully loaded 99V with 57k, have advertised at £29,995.

Your thoughts would be most welcome.

I'd tend to agree. Slightly on the high side. That is almost facelift (post-51 reg) money.

A quick look on Autotrader for pre-facelift models with 40k miles will show you that they are going for between £26 to £29k.

Looking at your profile it's a 4S tip cabriolet. Unfortunately by the time the car is 7-8 years old none of these make much of a difference to the price - maybe 1-2k max ?

Thanks for your input. Think I'll drop it by £1,000 and see how I get on.

Few more miles, but trader www.pistonheads.com/sales/150492.htm

00V car for lot less www.pistonheads.com/sales/145970.htm

Unfortunately think it's a bit pricey.

Parkers says:
Original Price £71,760
Independent Dealer £32,890
Private Good £31,095
Private Poor £26,610
Part Exchange £28,405

Seems a little rich across the board compared with some classified adverts.

So depends on how keen you are to sell it. Summer is comming. Patience may yield a higher price. Or drop it now for a quick sale.

Another alternative is to get a full inspection done and then clearly state in the advert that the car comes with this. Any serious buyer will probably want one anyway.

Yeah, Parkers isnt always the best guide.

But its worth dropping it a couple of grand and see what difference it makes.

I still need to write up my ad... im just having seperation issues!
