I'm upgrading the shocks on my 944 S2 - it seems to come down to Koni or Bilstein (as an improvement over OEM). Does anyone have experience and/or recommendations of either? I have a Cabrio so will use it mainly on the road - maybe the odd track day!

Thanks

New OEM's will be a good refresh - Koni, Bilstein etc tend to be 'sport' oriented - stiffening up the corners on an open-top car will cause greater flex & softops are usually on softer suspension than the hardtop equivalent.

However if' you're after new gear then also consider KW as it too is highly rated.

I'd look at KW. I have them on my GT3.

I have KW on my 968, they are excellent, but they don't fall anywhere near the price range of koni, bilstein or OEM type replacements. Either will do the jon just fine but will be slightly stiffer than OEM. However if your shocks are knackered even a stiffer damper (new) will give a better ride.

Thanks guys - I'm aware that I don't want the suspension to be to hard as it's a cabrio, but I felt that if I was going to the bother of replacing the shocks (as they're knackered) it would be worth doing something better than OEM.
