I'm not doing the rally, but I may get involved in the start.

I'd leave the car at home that day and get there for about 11am if you want the best opportunity to see the cars (Pall Mall). If you want to see the 'action' then you'll still want to get there nice and early to get a good spot.

Yup we went last year in a 3 Esprit hit squad... Lay in wait over the M20 and pounced!

I recall a guy in a 430 being somewhat miffed at not being able ot lose my mate's car (450+bhp) and a chasing a Porsche Turbo - soon to be followed by the Police! (fortunatley they weren't after us!)


There were LOADS of other gatecrashers we all had to do the embarassed 'turn of shame' through the eurotunnel forecourts!

Yep me too, did it last year and definately looking to gate crash again this year. Although i deliberately left my p/port at home as i know i'd probably end up paying high crossing fees into France just to for adrenaline's sake...

It was great fun except for the "turn of shame!!!!!"
