If using Eurotunnel:

Calais then to Dunkirk
Then E42 to Lille, Tournai, Namur, Mons, Liege
Stay on the E42 into Germany and it takes you into the region of the Nurburgring
Take the 410 off the E42 at Prum (the 'U' has an umlaut - 2 dots) and that takes you to the Ring.

If you use silvers route(its the best one)
Watch out once you pass Spa on the downhill strech 1km from the German border you may be tempted to open it up but the Belgan police opperate a very efficiant speed trap on this section and will pull you 500M from the German border they have a spoter about 2K back.

Yes they nicked me and Yes I was fined along with a large queue of other punters

Hi LW,

I picked it up the Thursday before Easter, gave it a good run to Cornwall then had to give it back until yesterday as there were some marks made on the paint from the tyre lacquer. Most annoying...... They did give me a 997TT auto without Sports chrono which i also found annoying as you really noticed the turbo lag. I was just happy to be back in mine yesterday. So what little driving i have done in it has been the best handling car iv driven so far.

I'll be doing almost the same trip next Sunday (by bike), leaving just after noon from Folkstone Eurotunnel. However, I'll be taking the E40 after Liege to carry on to Aachen and on to Dusseldorf.
