Hi all,

Im just about to order a new set of carpets for my Chim from this lot in RR Blue. I am having some trouble matching the piping though, I have portland grey leather in the car and would like to get the same colour piping around the carpet but the two grey samples they sent me are nothing like portland (not yellow/beigey enough). Does anyone know which coverdale colour corresponds to portland grey or how I would describe it to them short of sending them a bit of mine?

They used to sell Portland Grey, I had a set off them once before it was discontinued.

Surely they've a scrap lying around they can match it to? Better still, have them send you swatches of the available colours. Or do they not do THAT any more either? rolleyes

(I note their prices have soared since becoming popular on here to. Have you shopped around?)

Well they sent two greys (light and dark grey) and they are both far off portland to the point that it would look stupid...

I have noticed the prices soar! They quoted me 300 for the full set in RR Blue with piping (latex backed) which seems ok given that I went to a local auto and aircraft trimmers (oxted trimmers) and they said they had done a few Chims before and it would cost me at least 330 for the carpet, then another 220 for them to cut it out, but I had to give them my old carpets to cut around etc. So thats 550 at the least from that place! Does anyone know anywhere which could beat Coverdale? I need them for next week really as I want to fit them before going back to University at the end of the month!
