Not sure which side you after (never worked out what the off side is always passenger and drivers side to avoid problems) but if its just the glass you are after this could be a cheap option same mirror type on the the S3C

Check which part you need - the problem is often just the mounting pillar which is designed to break off in an accident, but often doesn't wait that long. Far cheaper than replacing the whole mirrot.

Didn't I read that there is something better fitted to a Jap car (maybe Toyota MR2), than these awful Citroen jokes. Something that actually works as a mirror, I am fitting a boot-rack on my S2 for the LeMans trip and will need door mirrors that work.

Nothing wrong with the citeron / Jag xj220 / mirrors.... I think you have them mixed up with the useless ones fixed on your S2.....

I am yes. I assumed that because they apeared on the TVR alternative parts list, that is where TVR sourced them. Thanks I will get some.

Thanks to everyone who replied.

I've bought a CX mirror from a very helpful guy (Peter)at Slip End Garage (he has a TVR himself 01582-411421). I was quoted £150 + vat to respray the new pod. The old one wasn't actually damaged so I dismantled it and put the new frame, motor etc into the old pod.

I now have abrand new pod which will be going on ebay if anyone is interested.
