NEW COOPER S TYRES

Lively Thread this!!!
Just got back from a drive in country lanes - when overtaking and steping sharply on the accelerator the torque steer is dangerous, with the dirction of the car unstable - causing you to lift off, put two hands on the wheel, aim the car and then get back on the power!!! this is not a car for safe overtaking - BMW should you really have run flats on this car?????

I have never had this type of problem with my run flats. The only time I have ever experienced this is when two different tyres were on the front with different tread patterns, a quick swap to the back and everything was alright again.
I get quite bad tramlining but never had bad torque steer in the MCS.

i had it when:
the geometry was out;
it was wet; and,
it was in the winter when the roads were all crudded up and slimey with that stuff they put in the grit now...!
only time though. and incidentily it was mostly the fact the goemetry was out.
