I have had one week of motoring in my M12 GTO-3 and have had an awesome time. But! I had noticed that if the car was hot and I stopped and started again that I had very bad idling problems, causing the car to stall. Since then things have got worse as the car stopped last week and now will not start at all. I have had the RAC out and they tell me that they have checked all circuits and have fuel and spark, but still no life!
Another garage has looked at car and has ruled out most things. I do appear to have some moisture in the passengers side footwell, down the back of the wiring etc! Again continuity of circuits have been checked and all appear ok. Can anyone help me out? I should explain that I am in Devon and the nearest Noble dealer is many miles away! If necessary I will arrange recovery to there, but not before I have ruled out what maybe a simple fault!

Indeed. Lambdas won't affect starting.
When you say you have fuel and spark, have you checked the injectors are firing with a Noid light? I say this because "madmadmcmad" had an issue with his ECU losing all six injector drivers recently and that had similar symptoms of poor starting getting worse over a few weeks. He ended up with a new/different ECU.

Yep, that's about what happened. All my problems have not yet dissappeared, although as soon as we put the exchange ecu in, Hey presto.
Get some noid lights and check the injectors. If you have 12V to one side and the noid light does not pulse when you turn the engine over, then it sounds like you should strip the ECU out and send it to Noble for a check. Pain in the arse and you won't be back in the car for 4 weeks, but at least you'll know.

Have now managed to check that there is 12volts to the injectors, so it is looking very much like an ECU problem. Does the ECU have to go back to Noble to check/replace or are there any other ways of sorting? Especially if it's going to take 4 weeks!
Can I ask if anyone has had any experience of the AA being able to diagnose problems with a Noble. I have been told that they have two specialist units in the country and that they are equiped to test Noble's! ? It might save me four weeks, in case it is something else!

The AA came out to me. They confirmed, spark, fuel, injector voltage, no pulse from ecu. So once you've got that far, they won't be able to do anything else apart from arrange the transport to a dealer. If it's not a wiring problem, then your easiest route is get your ECU out and send it to Noble, they will send it to MBE, who will diagnose the fault. Trouble is it all takes time.
