radio cuts out when fans cut in

[wintrading]

What to do when my fans start my radio stops working. It is a TVR griffith?

Is it interference from the fan motors running? I notice that the cabin fan interferes with the radio reception too on mine - not by much but it can get annoying. Not that I listen to the stereo much when driving... I often wondered whether it might be possible to fit a cheap and cheerful suppression device (capacitor & resistor) across the motor supply wires to dampen this interference down - anyone tried this?
