front indicator lens..... Kia or not

New to this and only had an S series for a year. Some numpty has bashed the front indicator lens. I have spoken to TVR car parts and they claim that a Kia pride lens would do the job...../? any help.

I believe TVR Car Parts now stock them - but they aren't cheap any more.

I thought I had won the indicator lens lottery last weekend when I spotted a Sherpa Van parked outside a local scrapyard which still had its front indicators in tact in the bumper... but I was gutted when on closer inspection they were of a type about the right size but without the flange all round so they looked smaller... so we have to be experts at identifying sherpa van models as well now
My lenses are the originals with the flange cut off - as it was only the flange that was broken on mine... they dont look too bad, so you might get away with the same dodge if you are lucky

Thank you both I will phone the Kia chaps and see if they can swallow their pride.... and get me the required lens .

I BOUGHT 2 NEW INDICATOR LENSES LATE LAST YEAR FROM DAVID GERALD TVR FOR £19.50 EACH +VAT TEL;01386 793237 HE HAD THEM IN STOCK.TVR CAR PARTS TOLD ME THAT HE HAD THE ONLY NEW PAIR LEFT AND DID NOT WANT SELL THEM UNLESS HE WAS OFFERED SILLY MONEY FOR THEM(SAY £100.00 EACH)10 MINUTES LATER I HAD BOUGHT THEM FROM DAVID GERALD TVR.

That was last year.

This year you can't get the original Leyland ones anywhere, they were discontinued last summer. Any that do turn up are extortionate (even by TVR part standards). Hence the reason many of us have moved to Kia (that and the fact that the Kia ones look better anyway...)

I ve ordered the required from Kia and will let all know what they look like. Having seen some other photos of the said lens I think al will be well. Thank you all.
