G4 prices

Hi,

I'm a long long way off buying a G4, but since the Dare website is down, does anyone have a rough price list?

Haven't even seen one in the flesh or driven one, but if it's outta my price range it'd be better if i know now

In 2003 the basic price for a G4 Coupe was around £17K. To that you need to add the cost of all the essentials. like the dry sump kit (if you want to drive it anywhere), engine management, injection, two-litre option, metallic paint, immobilizer, alarm, decent tyres, LSD, registration costs, plus the dreaded Very Awful Tax. It would not be hard to get to £25K four years ago, and no doubt nothing is any cheaper!

I'd heard that £18k was the base price, but not that it was ex-VAT.

Guess I'll be looking in the classifieds when I've saved up
