The TVR's Sprinting Thread
Discussion
Well, the season has started, and just as with the TVR Challenge, its nice to have a large selection of TVR's out competing.
I was at Croft yesterday, with Dad competeing and it was really nice to see such a vast range of cars out there, both TVR and other marques putting on a stunning show. My thanks and a
to all the PH'ers who were there, I saw a fair few stickers but only know a couple of thier PH names; for those unaware of who I was - look for the scruffy Cerb, im the scruffier (usually) be-capped youth dribbling over your cars!!
If you can get yourself to a sprint nearby (lets face it, they're all over, so you should be able to) I really reccommend you do. Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to see these things driven exceptionally well by the vast amount of entrants, it is also a great chance to have a look at the whole range of TVR's close up and talk to the owners about them. The atmosphere is friendly and I've not yet met a single person there who isnt willing to chat about the cars with the upmost enthusiasm. Better still, they may talk you into competing... I know im starting to buckle on that front.
Thanks to everyone that was there, a pleasure as always.
I only follow midland speed and the occaisional TVR Speed Championship event, but I think next weekends offerings are Three Sisters (wigan) on Saturday and Harewood hillclimb (very northern)/ Cadwell Park (not sure where, but apparently amazing!)
All the best to everyone competing this season.
edit: Mods, if possible can you change the title to the TVR Sprinting Thread, I've been an idiot and messed it up.

Although I wasn't at Croft (too far away!) it's nonetheless a pleasure to have visitors - glad you enjoyed it.
Upcoming events (which sadly, I'm not doing either - probably a good thing, since the car is in bits) are;
14th April; 3 Sisters
15th April; Cadwell park
29th April; Wiscombe Park
Or there's a full event diary, piccies, articles, results & everything you could possibly want to know about sprinting your TVR at the most excellent web site;
