Thinking of selling my min.
Discussion
I'm considering selling my mini, don't really know what to do, It is about half restored at the moment, in the next week or so I am about to pull the old front off it and bang a new one on, then it will be that rare thing a totally rot free mini.
It's a 91 spi cooper, white with black roof (although at the moment it is all black), half leather, wood dash, all factory, original minilights, even a spare minilight, will be a totally original car, or damn close at least, trouble is I can't see me ever using it, what do i do? store it till a day that may never come that I want it as a driver and then I will have a perfect original cooper, or sell it to someone who will use it and enjoy it? I know I will regret it if I sell and also know it is getting on my nerves and is in my way. Bloomin cars they are worse than ex girlfriends!

Speaking of girlfriends didn't you get the mini for yours to drive?
On a more sensible note I would say keep the mini, there aren't many about that do not need work on.
When yours is done, and back to original condition just keep it tucked away somewhere, they don't take much room up.
Mine is hardly ever used, but it sits under a cover in the garage and is a hoot to drive in a masochistic kind of way!

Flog it and come and buy my mates 1960 semi-lightweight, bung a silly engine in it and then have a ropey looking rust free rat mobile, it could be beautiful. I suggest you find someone with a fast mini and get them to take you out for a blast. Failing that, watch the Italian Job, it made me go and re-engine mine and change the rear subframe
