993 headlight lens replacement - advice needed
Discussion
Took delivery of my 993 C2S last week and am considering getting out of the driving seat for long enough to fit the new headlight lens that needs to be replaced.
I have the new lens. What I don't have is a Haynes manual or the knowledge to complete the task. So can I ask the collective superior knowledge of PH to help me out with some advice?
I'm also replacing the fog lights and front indicator lenses at the same time. These look pretty simple, but if you know of any issues that are likely to come up when I get stuck in to the task tomorrow, perhaps you could let me know as well.
Thanks folks.

As above P-car is your friend.
I've done the job myself. Use the levers under the bonnet to release the headlamp assembly. ease it out of the wing. Use a screwdriver to unclip the large plastic tabs and remove the headlamp cover. Give the reflector a gentle wipe, clip on the new cover. Offer up the assembly to the car, make sure electrical connectors align, push it back in and twist back the levers under bonnet.
Easy job. good luck.

Thanks PP. The P-car advice said "Obviously, remove the headlights following the simple owner's manual instructions." which is the bit I don't have. Your advice seems to fill the gap.
I've just done the side indicators, your Granny could do them in her sleep and am now heading back out to do the rest.
Thanks everyone.

A quick update on the lens change. The job was so easy, it took longer to make the cup of tea that I took out to the car with me!
I've changed the indicators and fog lights which has really brightened up the front end. Next step is to get Paul from Miracle Detail round to look at her and she'll look like a new car. My 4 hour mini-detail looks OK, but I really need a proper job done on her.
Thanks as always for your help folks.
