New Lamborghini Dealer

Hi

This is my first post or reply on PH. I notice one or two of you have complained about the London dealer. I must admit I placed a deposit on a Gallardo some time back and found them to be superb to deal with and in fact I met some more customers at Geneva who shared the same opion as me. But, I guess we must all speak as we find and so this prompted me to let you know that I found out that Lamborghini are opening a new showroom in Manchester. All you guys who are holding back from buying perhaps should get in touch with the factory and ask when it's due.

I see, I wasn't told that by the factory representative on the Geneva stand.

Like I say I have had a great experience with them so far including all kinds of invites to various events etc.

The best was at the new Bentley GTC preview last night at their Jack Barclay showroom in Berkley Square.

Picture this; the showroom full of people drinking bottle after bottle of champagne. The street outside nose to nose with Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Bentleys etc.etc. with a thousand May Day protestors 400 yards away walking down Picadilly.

The police arrived and told us all it might be a good idea to leave. I fell out ot there at about 9pm.

I understand that no damage was done.

The funniest thing was that the VW dealership next door was boarded up while all this was happening. Perhaps VW felt that their flagship brand was not as desirable a target. If only everything in life where as reliable as a volkswagen!!

I know the policy of naming and shaming but if anyone is interested I will keep you informed of my progress through the order and ownership experience within the perameters allowed here.

Lamborghini 40th Birthday bash in bologna next weekend here I come!!!
