Hmmmm. Hard to believe that there is no marketing slant in this test - impartiality is always hard to establish. Also significant that the tests were all performed at room temperature, as one of the advantages of synthetic oils is their stability and resistance to film breakdown when the temperatures rise.
Find it hard to believe that Porsche would give approval to Mobil 1 if it is so clearly an "inferior product" as it could only reduce the life span of their engines - hardly in their interests.
