I was driving back into London last night (on the M2) and I thought there was a gale blowing. The steering seemed to do the odd little pull, just like if you're driving in very windy conditions. I had to pull over just to double check that there the tyres were OK. I realise that the big shoes will be more sensitive to road surfaces but it really felt like I was driving across a windy bridge. I've done 4.5K since new and the tyre pressure was equal all round. Is it common for the 911 to need balancing frequently or is tracking prone to be an issue? Or is the M2 just fairly uneven?? Sorry for the dumb questions but I'm new these beasts.. Thanks!

Well it has been very windy recently.

Today my kids found a balloon in a tree, with one of those 'if you find me...' labels attached, that had come all the way from Holland!

They are prone to tramlining and any well used piece of motorway tarmac will have ruts worn or pushed into it through the weight of traffic - especially trucks - running over it 24/7, as long as the car feels okay on a smooth piece of tarmac, put it down to that section of m'way

Thanks for the replies. Took the car out again late last night and it was fine along the A40. It was a very odd on the M2 which I guess must have some surface issues. Having never experienced that before I was slightly concerned!
Cheers

Thankfully I've (so far) managed to avoid all trees and foliage!

Unbalanced wheels is much more of a vibration than a pull
