…..for building a great Chimera!!

I spent most of Friday at an airfield day (North Weald) learning how my car handles at speed. Didn’t go for the real throwing it about chicane / time trial stuff but more for the long straights and subtle bends. I have always been a bit nervous of these instances out on the road so wanted to try and find the limits of the car in relative safety.

Anyway after the best part of the day enjoying getting to know my car and sitting in queues to run the events I ventured home, only to sit in a 3hr traffic jam around the M25…..yuk!!

But despite being turned on and off more times than I can remember on the airfield day, as well as sitting with the engine running for prolonged periods my trusty Chim sat in that traffic jam in the rain quite happily for 3hrs and then proceeded to blast me home down the river that was now the M3 in absolute dryness.

No overheating issues, no leaks, no electrical gremlins…..nothing. God I love that car!! cloud9

Yes I realise I have probably jinxed it now, but I figured not enough people come on here to say how well their car behaves. Quite frankly mine took much more than I ever thought possible on Friday and still came up for more over the nice sunny weekend.

If you haven’t bought a TVR yet, do it! driving

Well said. It's true, there's not enough positive comments posted. It seems we all take for granted how great the cars are.

Agree with that. It's my only car and so far appears to be reliable.

Nice to have the option to blast around a track to know how your car handles then still manage to drive home in comfort.

It is a great car.
