The company car gets changed this year so i am keen to send the current one back more or less in the same state it was when i got it otherwise i have to pay for the damage. An if it looks clean and bright they are less likely to look over it with a fine tooth comb.

What can i do to get it to showroom standard (or as close as) without spending much money. The main problems are small but lomg scratches down the side from bushes etc country lanes on the way to work. Stone chips on the bonnet we can get away with. Also the interior could do with a clean to.

Any products recommended?

Also should i get one of the electric buffers. They look good but are they?

Also the car is red by the way.

Cheers
D

You could go out and but all the right polishes, glazes etc and a decent orbital polisher and sort it out yourself but unless you are going to keep up detailing as a bit of a hobby, this could be an expensive outlay for a single job! Might be better off paying someone to do it for you??

The polishes etc would get used on the Tiger Cat E1 plus the wifes car, and to be fair on the new company car. They do look good when they are clean and sparkling

Autoglym Super Resin Polish will do a good job of tidying the car up and will fill scratches quite effectively. Follow this up with a decent wax or Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection to seal in your work and that should help alot.
