Help anybody know which model sierra or granada do the drivehafts to the s1 come from.Spent the last two days in the local breakers yard with no luck realise now that recent sierras and abs fitted granadas are no good.the suns shining and im in the missus micra sad!

The alternative parts list (www.parkersteve.dsl.pipex.com/sparts.html#diff/gearbox)shows them as 'sierra 2ltr', but I don't know if that's for a v6 or V8S. The S1 uses a scorpio diff and sierra 1.6 drum brake hubs, while the track doesn't match sierra or granada. Maybe the shafts are a TVR special? If you can't find a complete driveshaft in a breaker's yard, you could overhaul your driveshafts using a scorpio inner joint and a sierra drum brake outer joint. The CV joints are separately available at a Ford dealer or motor factors.
