m4 junction 12 reading

hi chaps, need to meet someone at junc 12 tomorrow, they are coming from wales, i am coming from london, does anyone know if you can meet at the services & then me head back to london, them to wales, ie can you cross the motorway there?

If not, any alternative venues, hotel etc?

Hi Craig - I'm pretty sure you can't cross at the services which are just before J12. If you get off at J12, Porsche Reading is right there, you can't miss it, often use it to meet biker mates. You can then go east or west...

If you go to Chieveley services at J13 they are accessible from both carriageways of the M4 (you have to leave at J13 - A34 to reach them).

There's a big shopping complex at jc12 - meet at McDonalds or Sainsburys (Starbucks there too) for example.

You definitely can't cross at the services.

At jc11 you have a Pizza Hit/McDonalds or KFC just north of the junction
