Valium, it's a bit nervewrecking when you realise your car is about to be revved really quite hard by someone else.

I would expect the Speed 6 to be very close to quoted figures.
Can I suggest ear plugs cos it's loud.

Hmmn well he says

"Remember that it is the torque curve that is important not the peak figure."

What a load of bollox, we all know that it's the peak bhp that is the daddy

I'll let you try and figure it out, but here's a hint, the yellow circle with some black markings in at the end of my post should give you a clue.

What... that he wanted to feel your peak power and not just torque about it?

Here Here - or is it Hear Hear? Never knew how to say that and still don't. If however, you do believe it, buy a 2 Stroke engined car from somewhere.

Have you noticed it always the Cerby girls who are concerned with the power, or lack of, there cars are developing? Maybe its all the money they need to spend on there motors to get them up to 350+ BHP? I`m not sure? Your Speed 6 will probably be near the quoted power give or take 10 brake or so. After a good few years or driving various Tivs, unless you want to track your car regularly you won`t notice 10 bhp or so`s difference on the road, IMO if you spend lots of money to ring the last couple of BHP out of your car to go onto internet forums to say "my cars faster than yours" and" your car only developed that power on XXX`s rolling road and not XXX`s rolling road" you need to get a life IMO . Now if you Re-map and tune for smother running and better flexibility and an improved driving experience, far play, will it matter that you are 1.2BHP down on the next Cerby/Tiv? Please enlighten me
In the mean time the sun has just come out so i`m off out in my 338 bhp hair dressers Tamora. I will keep a good look out in the rear view mirror and be prepared to move out of the way for any Cerby that might appear
