Just got back from a 1700 mile trip to the KW factory in Germany. The GT3 is now as nature intended!! It has so much more poise through corners - no mid corner correcting as bumps upset the car. Now you set the car and it just does its thing.

Though I can recommend the suspension, I don't recommend doing 1700 miles in two days!! There were some highlights though - a visit to Manthey, Carcraphic and Gemballa while I was there. There was a K440 Manthey for sale - it looked absolutely mint and was 'just' Euro 102k!! Cargraphic had their new GT3 based 4.0 litre car - very impressive. Gemballa was like a candy store!!

I use my car mainly on the road. I got the variant 3 coilovers. The existing suspension was shagged - possibly original with 40k miles pn them! The rear left was leaking and I had them put it on a damper dyno - it was hardly doing any damping at all.
Re: monoballs, they also have the motorsport coilovers (at circa 5000 euro a set) which have adjustable high and low speed damping. But for what I use the car for, it would have been overkill.

A really impressive set upo they have there - good attention to quality.

dont mean to be thickie McThick but why did you go all the way to germany for some shockers? Is it much cheaper this way or were you hoping for a better service over there?

Reason i ask is im thinking of getting some KW on the 968 and will be over in germany at the 'ring soonish ...

I went there to meet the guys, tour the factory etc for Total911 magazine. Ordinarily, you could just buy a set and cut out the 1700 mile drive!!
