Cableguy the car I've seen is a LHD but in germany but still on UK plates. If I gave eiher a Porsche dealer in the UK or Germany the VIN number what would they be able to tell me about the car?

All Porsche dealers have a system that will accept all Porsche VIN numbers - PPN (Porsche Partner Network)

The system will release info on type, spec and recalls etc.

If you come across a low mileage Y reg in silver that seems good value for money be aware hehe

and if you do, complete a search using the name Lonman and you will understand

I was wondering is there any way a HPI check can be carried out in Germany? or do you think I'd be safe enough buying the car if it gets the all clear after the 111 point check done by a Porsche dealer in Germany?

Neither the 111 point check nor the German equivalent of an HPI check (if such a thing exists) are a substitute for a proper and thorough bodywork inspection IMO. You need to arrange to have the latter carried out to ensure the car hasn't had any serious impact damage.
