I am going to spray some plastic wheel centres to match my black wheels, nothing fancy just using cans of primer and black wheel paint....once painted I thought about sticking them in the kitchen oven at say 100 degrees for 1/2 an hour to cure the paint.

Any expert comment on the above would be gratefully received, obviously I don't want the wheel centres to melt...or am I just wasting my time?...cheers

100 sounds high, half hour at 65 degrees would probably do you...

When i've done plastics in the oven trick, I set the oven to the lowest possible temp, leave the door slightly ajar unless fan assisted, after 15 mins they are baked to perfection, 5-10 mins cool time and all sorted.
