997s Valentine One install

I was able to route the power to the passenger footwell 12V location as shown in the pictures. Any suggestions on where I can find "switched" power?

I mounted my V1 there on my 996. Took the power from the light cluster

Cigarette lighter in the passenger footwell is always on.
As for the light cluster, I was told it all goes back to the PCM unit and is sensative to voltage fluctuations. (and would void my warranty on PCM!) Ouch! I opted against this idea. Perhaps it is different in your model???

They're going to be illegal here anyday now. My V1 will probably go back to the US on eBay...

What a load of rubbish! There's a three position switch, three lights, doors opening and shutting how many 'sources' of fluctuations are there there?

Hey stealt997, are you stealth from radar deflectors? I'm considering a blinder m20... got clocked yesterday by laser and thankfully was going inside the officers tolerance limit. Just took the veil off the headlamps, it made them look terrible...
