I probably have read this already but have forgotten! I have just had a PSE fitted to my 997C2S and was wondering at what speed does the cut off valves apply or is it an RPM figure.

Has anyone disabled the valve but can still use the switch on their 997 PSE?

as far as i am aware you cannot rid yourself of the cut out whilst maintaining switch usage......

the cutout itself runs from 30mph through to 45mph

I had mine without the switch. I'm committed to the cause like that, I am. Switches? Poofs more like.

ETA - On my second to last 996, that is. I ordered it with PSE and when it arrived, the salesperson took great pleasure in showing me this switch as though I should be pleased. I gave him a confused and disgusted loachy stare as though he'd just insulted my Mother, and a day later; no switch. On the car after that (a Tip) PSE seemed a bit like putting lipstick on a pig, so I didn't bother.
