Probably not what you want to hear, but I would expect the depreciation you will suffer to be greater than funding a few repairs yourself.

Obviously the depreciation will be realised at some point (i.e. when you sell) but if you want to keep the car then find the money to keep it on the road :-)

I've just falked out £10,000 to upgrade my 2002 Tamora to 4.0Ltr Red Rose Upgrade, Nitron Shocks, and red air box,
to make it more reliable so that I can keep it longer. Could have sold it and bought a newer one, but decided not to
because of the depreciation of it's value.

Just hang in there because your Tiv looks really cool from the picture.
