...Which sort of customer do you get in here buying Porsche , is it persons who are perhaps contemplating a BMW or Merc are they alternatives.....

Don't really know why anybody buys a Porsche, they are too fast for normal use, two cramped inside. Different sorts really, people who have had a dream from being kids those that just want a status symbol to show off to the neighbours, and the woolley hat brigade that meet outside on a sunday in their cars to go for a ride toghether.
