New team tackles Tuscans in 2003

It's like musical chairs sometimes in the Tuscan Challenge with drivers swapping teams, teams being reborn with different names and new teams forming with some familiar faces behind the scenes.
This season has seen the creation of Insane Racing. Racer (no 5) Wayne Phelan has formed a partnership with TVR specialist Steve Howard to bring the team together for 2003.
Driving with Wayne is accomplished Tuscan racer Darren Dowling who's already secured two fourth places and second place in the last round at Snetterton. Insane Racing are also helping out Lee Caroline, another driver with his eye on this year's crown.
Along with the race prep, Insane Racing are preparing a two seater Tuscan for training and entertainment purposes.
Steve commented, "In creating the name and brand identity we wanted people to know that we still intend to have fun out there, but we're aiming higher than before and offering our drivers and sponsors a better package all round".
The branding already applied to the cars and the team truck will shortly be carried through to a new range of Insane Racing clothing which will be available soon.
