Just bought an Astra, and the prev owner has tried to spray over a couple of little scuffs on the bumper. However, in doing so they've sprayed too much and some drip marks are visible. Anyone any ideas of a DIY method of reducing these down, or am I best leaving it to a bodyshop?

If the drips are in lacquer, you could try cutting them out with a fine paper on a block (1500-2000grit say) or search ebay (paint and bodyshop supplies category) for a sag/run/denib file and use that. Then polish the gloss back up. Beware of flatting through good finish around the sag!
