its been fun guys but my 911 fell off the road a few months back, and today ive put a deposit down on somthing, err, a little, err, different.
www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=371705&f=23&h=0
the important stuff, 37 years old BUT basically a new car, new engine (4.6 V8) from v8performance.co.uk on new running gear (brakes and AVO coilovers) with a new chassis about 2 years ago and lots of new other stuff.
I found this place after googling my reg number about 10 days after buying the 911, Simon Harrod spotted me a week after buying it taking a country lane sideways
so i joined up to say hello, so its all his fault, blame him.
I started my first porsche experience like this
but it ended about 20 months later, and about 42000 miles like this.
it was a cold and frosty morning, doing about 30mph. . . . .
but you aint got rid of me that easy
ill be keeping tabs on this place every now and then just wont own a porsche for a while.

no. cos you cry
hey, that only happened a couple of times.
ps down to 8 stone now, i look like bluey
no amount of emaciation could possibly make you look like bluey
he is, after all, half bush baby
and by bush baby i refer to the big eyed furry animals native of madagasgar, rather than the nervy definition of "bush baby"

I thought we agreed not to mention the "shot down in a blaze of glory" moment.. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
Sad to see the pork go, it looked really good in that photo and i never got to see it in real life
The scimmy looks pretty well sorted tho so you should get along like a house on fire with that (not literally, obviously)
We're gonna have to rename this forum (or invade another one and claim squatters rights) as first Nerv, then Magic and now Ducati(less)Gary move over to the cheap and cheerful (or expensive and plastic) side....
Anyhow I'm sure you'll do a lot of sideways driving the scimm - loads of fun in store!!!
