Brands 24th

Just got back from Brands, and slowly warming up.

It was a fantastic day and it was good to finally meet Martin (V6 GTO), Adrian W and Paul CUNDY.

I especially enjoyed watching Paul and Tony F racing. Those Radcials are insane!!

There was some fantastic racing in the Lotus event and some unfortunate moments for some. Like an Exige bursting into flames at full pelt right in front of us.

Anyway in conclusion a blinding day and great to meet more people from the Knight hood

Did anyone get a photo of that elise bursting into flames? - I was up at the grandstand at the time. It sure looked scary!

Didn't have a camera ready mate. I think V6 GTO may have been down there at the time.

I was over at Druids with Justin so missed it.

Thats a shame, it would have made a great shot. Certainly kept me warm, LOL. The fella did really well as he was back out for the next race, with a slightly bubbled paint job!!

It was good to meet you Martin. I'm gutted I didn't get to meet Justin. Hopefully I will at a future meet.

Good to see Paul, Ad and Martino. I'm seriously tempted by a 1 having inspected Martin's equipment at close quarters and had my (cold) hands all over it....

Happened away from us. The post inspection damage wasn't that bad - a bit of t-cut....

Got a good view of it. Looked like the firey death of an engine but turned out to be a punctured oil filter and he was back for the 2nd race.
