I've noticed recently the drilled holes on the front discs are full of dust, so much infact they aren't holes anymore.

Should I be poking a screwy in them to clean them out?

As long as you are careful not to score the surface of the disk itself it will help a little.

After you have braked hard a couple of times the surface of the discs will he so hard with "heat hardening" you will be lucky if you could mark the face with a chisel so dont worry too much about that.Poking the holes will do no harm but using a blow gun on an airline will be far more effective using a face mask of course.
