Best place to buy (cheap) carbon fibre or similar.

First off - THIS IS NOT FOR MY CAR. Just to set your minds at rest!
Right, I go to speedway and this involves alot of filling out of a programme. The programme is A4 sized - folded in half.
The programme boards that teams sell are pretty awful plasticcy affairs that haven't really changed in 20-odd year. So, I want to make my own!
So basically, I need some carbon fibre sheet, cheap as possible, as I'm sure I'll make a total hack of the first few attempts.
Any other brilliant tips gratefully received!

how thick do you want it, and when you say A4 folded do you mean folded TO A4, so you'll want 2 bits A4 size or A4 folded to A5? I have a few 4ft x 2ft sheets of 1mm & 2mm that were damaged in forming - haven't looked at them in a while but I might be able to get a couple of bits of A5 out of them that are clean and decent - doubt there would be anything larger than that without creases though.
Tip wise - working with cured carbon is a piece of pee, but wear protective clothing (mask, gloves etc) it's a bitch awful stuff if you get it on your skin. abrasive cutting disc makes very light work of cuts, but any type of steel saw will be blunted before you get 2 inches. sands beautifully so I frequently hack to within a mm or two with the cutting disc in a couple of seconds then sand to shape.

1mm at A4 is reasonably stiff in the layup style this was done in - it's not going to be completely rigid but pretty good. I'll have a look and see if there are any bits that I could hack A4 size out of - doubt it but if there is you are welcome to it, save me tripping over it!
