Some pics from a recent trip to Rome. C&C welcome:
1. HDR of the Colosseum:
2. Colosseum and sky:
3. Colosseum pano:
4. Arch of Titus:
5. Temple of Antoninus and Faustina:
6. Pantheon:
7. St. Peter:
8. St. Paul:
9. St. Peter's Basilica:
10. St. Peter's Basilica cupola:
11. City from the cupola:
It was a pretty packed couple of days of sightseeing, and I think my creativeness suffered a bit by the time we hit the Vatican, so they become a bit snappy. But all comments are more than welcome.
A few more, and larger version of the above on flickr

Hi rgee,
All were shot on a Canon 400D with either the 18-55 kit lens or a Tamron 55-200 (nos 7 and 8) Most of them utilised a circular polarising filter, and for no. 2 an ND Grad. I always shoot RAW, and the conversion was done in Adobe Lightroom and just consisted of slight levels, contrast and saturation tweaking, as well as the odd dust spot removal. For the HDR of the Colosseum at night I took five exposures and put them into FDRTools. For the panorama I took six exposures and combined then with a Mac tool called Calico (which uses Autostich under the covers)
BTW, there's all the exif data on the originals on flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/aspender/sets/72157594563483093/
Forgot to add, nos 6 and 10 were also taking into Photoshop Elements for a bit of Noise Ninja treatment and subsequent sharpening.

I think the majority are great shots, and I'd be happy to turn them out.
If I was to be at all picky, I'd have a look at the crops/framing on the statues - you seem to have chopped ends of elbows off, which I personally find a bit "distracting". And St Peter appears to have a "Coolie" hat on - a shallower DoF might have helped here.
I really should get around to putting some of my attempts up for C&C... well I would if they were up to anything!
