Anthony Kumpen is full of confidence !

The sixth place in friday practice proved the development Carsport Force One is making to the Chrysler Viper. Anthony Kumpen says that top 5 and even a podium finish should be possible...

has force one viper go the 2003 spec front end? Christphe Buchout says the new front end 'makes the car turn into the cornr much better, it feels like a totally different car' I think its a amazing such an old car (no disrespect atall!) can keep up the pace of modern saleens, ferraris and the storms, if you saw baceoa the car was in 4th all the way through, very even, and set the fastest lap!
Go bouchout!

id like to see some pictures, i'll have a look for some, but its not ging to be blindingly obvious, no bodywork change, just suspension/chassis modifacations. I think ORECA did the work for the larbreteam, so ill check theyre site.

interesting race (red face on the Porsche engine crew and a shame as EMKA had the strategy wrapped up in N-GT).

Viperman - shouldn't worry about the aesthetics, more the longeity......

When do the "new-style" vipers hit race trim ?

Watched the highlights on Eurosport, the force one viper was up there with the leaders before a failure

The new Viper, 'Competition Coupe' is out in the USA and is tearing up track, about 30 so far have been made, I've heard a few European teams have them on order but won't be ready until next year, not sure what series they will race in

What a shame the 14 Lister lost its throttle cable, a solid drive from both Jamie C-W and Nathan K put them well into the lead before retiring 10 minutes from the end. J C-W seems to have been unlucky in the last couple of seasons, I hope this will change for the better!
