1100 kg's with both tanks full, 15 ltr's of oil and a selection of boiled sweets for the journey. Got a lot of give and take: Alloy block, magnesium wheels, no sound proofing or extra heat mat, alloy dampers, light weight oil pipes are all good but sat nav/t.v./DVD/ etc., front and rear anti roll bars, diff oil cooler, mahoosive 4 gallon dry sump tank blah, blah, blah all unwelcome necessities, but I am very happy with the weight of the car and have plans to lighten the load even more. I have also found that boiled sweets such as sherbet lemons are a good choice because the centres are hollow to accommodate the sherbet but be warned, too many consumed to hastily will result in stripping the roof of your mouth and although not a major problem, I am surprised that the manufactures have not modified these sugary comestibles to be more user friendly over the years, maybe they are mainly consumed by masochists and therefore ordinarily pose little problems?

The GTW is not back together yet Steve, I am going to Stoneleigh on Sunday to collect the rest of the clutch parts that I need from Andy Burrows on the GD stand.
