Jay Kay's Enzo
Discussion
Read in the paper that Jay Kay (lead from Jamiroquai) had to send his Enzo back to Ferrari to get the pedal's adjusted as he's too short for the car...
But the then future owners of Enzos were invited to Italy for a fitting....
Anyone know differently? Or did he buy it off a private buyer and not Ferrari directly??

well I saw him talking about it at the F1 race this weekend (on telly)...what a VERY excitable man (personally I think he's a blinding bloke) and he only seemde to say it was amazing and great...and he'd picked it up from the factory...
thsi suggests that the paper article was, for a change, a load of old bol*ocks!

Not so sure. He was talking about the Enzo when he was on Top Gear saying how fantastic it was and how he had to get one. By this time though all of the cars had gone.
I suppose he could have bought an order off another buyer so long as he has the permission of the factory.
Anyway I don't suppose he cares how he got it as long as he got it.
Wonder if he will let the Stig have a go with it for the new TG series?

With his history of car ownership including Ferraris combined with the publicity his ownership would bring, the factory would probably fall over backwards to let him buy one. I very much doubt if he had to pay a premium.
It would be interesting to see who gave him his passes for the San Marino F1, was it Bernie or was it Ferrari?

Of course if he had to pay a premium, so be it, lifes to short not to if you're a petrol head and can afford it out of petty cash!!

I remember reading something about this actually. If you wanted an Enzo you had to first apply to Ferrari. If they deemed you not to be enought of an ethusiast they would not let you have one. There was a young Asian business man IIRC who owned a 360 and wanted a Enzo but they told him he could not have one!
