Can I wash my K & N ??

Can I wash my K & N filter ? how ? with what ?? and how do I dry it, in a low oven ?

I wash mine in a shallow tray of warm water and w/up liquid, (not so deep that it gets inside the filter), changing the water several times. Flush through from inside to outside with clean water, air dry and re-oil with K&N spray.
