S Club Heaven - The Important Details

Here are the details for S Club Heaven 2007. Location is the Coventry Transport Museum. www.transport-museum.com/ and it will take place on the 22nd July.
Coventry is the birthplace of the British cycle and motor industry, and the Museum displays the world’s largest collection of British road transport, including 240 cars, commercial vehicles and buses, 100 motorcycles, over 200 cycles and around a million archive and ephemera items. Admission is free.
As well as the obvious attraction of the museum, we will have the usual competitions and traders are being lined up. So you will have plenty of opportunity to spend lots of money.
We have negotiated a rate of £65 for a double and £55 for a single at the Brittania Hotel for the night of the Saturday the 21st July for anyone that wants to stay over. www.britanniahotels.com/hotel_home.asp?page=83 Phone the hotel direct and make your booking, quoting “SCCO 2177”.
Right in the heart of the city, Coventry's premier hotel adjoins the historically famous Coventry Cathedral, a popular tourist favourite. The city’s shopping centre and department stores are just on the doorstep.

Have just confirmed that tvr carparts are attending - - - so bring your wallets!!
Hopefully, TVR Power will also be along. I seem to remember (from Sprint) they were looking at the supercharger conversion for the pre-serp engines. methinks that would make the V8S a bit of a Q-car!! I'm waiting on Dom to get back to me.

Been talking this over with Andy@APM, could make a very interesting conversion, although I think brakes and suspension would need some work too, especially to stop the nose going skyward! 
Forgot to mention in previous post that I also made some enquiries for those hardy souls who enjoy spending the night under canvas.
Unfortunately, the nearest sites are about 20 miles away. So, for those who thought it might be a continuation of the Le Mans experience
I haven't made any further enquiries.
If there is a huge requirement for camping, I might see what sort of discount we could get for a block booking. I guess it would have to be a biggish take-up though.

Alas, I fear a lot are defecting!!
Dark Matter & Profstoff (our main man!!!) have gone the Griffith route. V8oatz from Dorset is in a Cerbie now. Hope we get a bit more interest in the near future.

Its certainly a lot quieter in here than I recall it being a few years back. Back then we had Shnozz and Psychobert on quite a lot along with Podie's commentary on life and life. Wildfire too was quite vocal back then, as was RichardR and various others. Last year I think there were several threads about S Club, and the main one went to many pages before even February. Is there a lot of apathy or have many owners upgraded or moved on?
Perhaps it's more of a quality rather than quantity group now

Some of us are trying to avoid talk as we are trying to get the car back on the road in time for heaven

As a relative S newbie I'm definately up for the 22nd. Been relatively quiet so far as most of my time online seems to be on metcheck.com hoping for better weather at the weekend... Will try to rectify that.

WQelcome to thes Club Harvey and we look forward to meeting you on the 22nd July. There is no need to register, just turn up on the day. But you may want to add a note on the Pistonheads calendar (see the link on the first post on the thread.
