Basically, there's a pull-out section about 'street racing', featuring modded Jap cars for a few articles - 3 racing in London tunnels, 1 doing handbrake slides on the A1 and then the two Cerbs in Blackpool....

I've been recycled. Photos are from last year.

They're nice photos of my cars and MaxPower likes TVRs so, as posted above, it's quite nice to see something positive about TVR in the media. As for "street racing" the shots were done with slow exposure at walking pace, the photographer was trotting along behind the cars. hehe

FWIW, MaxPower seems to have reinvented itself, which is what they said they were doing last year. There's less stupidity and tits'n'bums, more high quality cars. There's a pretty hard looking Cayman on the front cover and Green Day's very cool "rat look" '68 Mercury lowrider is featured. I don't mind admitting I've actually read some of it. The quality of photography has stepped up a few gears (even of the token girly). What's quite amusing though is that at least one of the photographers (one of the current top motoring pros) uses a pseudonym for his MaxPower work. The guy who did my photos is someone I know under his own name from other more serious titles...

I've got a copy to show you mate, i'll bring it to the Ace Cafe next month for you.

Just for the record people, this is not the usual sort of publication that I would normally buy. It was only purchased as a friend was being featured in it trying to educate the masses......HONEST !! paperbag

shout Phil, we need to talk shirts mate now i've got the car back
