After 2 weeks of ownership I have finally managed to get some pics onto the site. The car is absolutely fabulous with the exception that the yellow dignostic light has appeared 4 times in 2 weeks. My pride and joy is currently residing in the dealership from whence it came. They are still trying to figure out what the issue is. Apparently if you do not tighten the fuel cap up to within 1/8th turn of "EXACT" the diag will come on This fault has been fixed 3 times and the diag reset. The dealer maintainted that the error occured 3 times because the Ferrari bods had done a software change and 2 banks of faults needed resetting, not one?? and the dealer had not been notified.
Fourth time it came on and I had not even refeulled so now i'm a little sceptical of their diagnosis. Now i'm totally and more than a little Anyone else here had a similar issue??
I HOPE to be able to meet up with a few of you at Bruntingthorpe on Sunday.
Manu, please hold the Tubi till I get this sorted!!

Looking forward to seeing it being used in anger on the way down to Le Mans!.... assuming that it's sorted and Tubi'd by then. Will be disappointed if it you don't get it up to 180.

Jason, that isn't merely a car, it's a veritable sculpture.

Please try and make it to Brunters...

Jason, that looks lovely

Teething trouble, bloody annoying at such an early stage... hopefully they won't take long sorting it. Still, what an awesome car. Congratulations.

.... and what about getting a courtesy car if they can't get yours back on the road for the week-end?.... anything from their forecourt should suffice!

Indeed, a 550 would be nice for a blast around B'thorpe, they are working on a contingency right now, although all I really want is my car back for the w/e!!!

Ninja, thanks for the wheels comment.
I considered them an absolute must, they DO look soooooo much better than the standard wheels and a relatively inexpensive option(considering the usual silly Ferrari extras prices) at approx £1500 for the modular rims.

I can imagine the conversation with your Ferrari dealership next week:-

"Jason, that 550 we lent you last week-end"
"Yes"
"Did you take it to Germany on the Autobahns"
"No"
"Well, our technician has pulled some diagnostic information fron the ECU, and it indicated that you took it over 175 mph on at least six occasions"
" Nooo!, the ECU must be f~%ked on that car as well!"

Jason,

that's really lovely - congrats!

I would put my foot down and demand a car for the weekend - seriously! Unacceptable.

Manu, I guess the rest is up to you now...

Hope to see it soon.

lovely!
I do think the 360 is quite the nicest of the spiders. Looks really cohesive, with subtle shades of Porsche's speedsters, like it was designed alongside the berlinetta as opposed to afterwards. A car -and what a car- in its own right. Hope all this gets sorted soon.

Looks fantastic. I can think of no better car for hooning in the warmer weather. Would be great to see you at Brunters on Sunday. Are any of the board regulars attending other than Tony Diablo? Manu, Ninja are you up for it?
