Great in-depth report - Excuse my lack of knowledge but is this an OPC 111 point that i keep hearing about on the forum, if so, it seems very thorough and looks worth the fee.

I suppose allot depends on the mileage and how much the chaps after? And more importantly how much £30k+ means to your lifestyle - Personally i couldnt take any risk if paying this kind of money for the car to then be in and out of a garage with it? Where is the fun and enjoyment in that? BUT at the same time you may be a bit handy with DIY motoring issues.

Edit - 911OMG's breakdown seems to be pretty comprehensive with the "RUN" advice unless you are getting it for a really good price.

If the car is 5 years old that would be an average of 4 times a day.

Run away if it is £40k

Buy it and sort it if it is £30k

For £40k you can buy a much better example of a MK1 GT3.

Before you do, can I ask who did the report for you please as it looks (to my untrained eye) very comprehensive and useful.

Have a look at this thread.

www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=8853&mode=linear

Any more details on the car mileage etc..

I would not touch it. Best of luck.

I buy and sell these things every day and you can do much better. Many owners turn up at my doorstep having said that their car is in A1 condition and get rather upset when you try and even consider knocking them for the work that needs doing when they know in their own heart of hearts that it does and are just plain upset I actually noticed... laugh
