How about Reims? The old circuit in the '60's used to be crazy long straights with a couple of corners thrown in. Always wanted to go and see the old buildings - bit run down now though apparently confused

The Reims circuit is great. The city is nice. Forget Epernay (overpriced champagne for Yanks and Japanese) hotels in the countryside are nicer with better food and better champagne. Trier is nice for an overnight stay, touring the Meuse banks is great. Through the Ardennes the Trier-Verviers highway is good. Have you put Spa-Francorchamps on your route? In Stavelot and around Francorchamps there are some great hotels and restaurants for reasonable prices.
