The round plastic cover thingy for the windscreen wiper bolt on one side has fallen off my 997. Hard to describe exactly but if you look at a 997 and you'll know what I mean.

No big deal but just annoys me knowing that its missing.

Any ideas where I can get another one (my OPC didn't have any)? Closest I've found is this for a 944 - is it the same.

Cheers - Erik.

Of course it has a warranty but this is a tiny piece of plastic probably worth a quid (similar to losing a tyre cap). Not going to be booking the car into my local OPC for that..!!

Hopefully I can find one somewhere and click it back on.

Ring your OPC - Describe the part - the chances are they will pop you one in the post and you can stick it on yourself - If they don't give it to you for free it will only be a few pence.

My OPC mails me any small parts that I need the next day.

I just had a coat hanger fall off mine - I went in a showed them - they ordered the part (a small plastic clip of affair) - I brought the car back and they fitted it for me - obviously under warranty - I'm just worried I'll break it again!

It'll probably be better to stick it on the 997 !!
