Decided to go coil overs, pending the outcome of one or two other things.

Spax or Gaz?

Any strong opinions either way?

Heard good things about both - for good unbiased advise speak to Rick at Phoenix Minis in Ipswich (01473 288881) and tell him "Chris who brought his (Rick's) brakes" sent you!!

The guys at Phoenix have rally / track experience, and are very good & operate a fixed price scheme - ie they charge you what they quote - even if the job takes hours longer! Brilliant (& no I'm not on a back hander!)

Please let me know what you think when you have had them fitted, I'm contemplating the change myself.

No question in my mind, go with the GAZ. Spax are a good place to start meddling with dampers, but you'll soon get fed up of the harsh ride that you just can't quite dial out.......
