Steven's Esprit Normally Aspirated '89

Being young owner of an Esprit, I want to know everything about the car,but... mine is a non turbo stevens design NA of 1989 (same 2.2 l as the S3). Does someone tell me about the potential problems or warnings about that model? I read and respect the non-drag racing, burn-out and all that stuff. My question is more mechanical.
Thank everybody for sharing your thinkings. By the way does anyone know how much of this model have been produced?

You won't have as many problems as the turbo'd ones, or the ones with lots of power and torque.

However, your lotus is an old lotus... and that means things will break or fall off. Fact of lotus ownership, I'm afraid.
