Yep,a year away was enough for me.My trusty chim went to make way for a Boxster a great car in many ways,but its not a TVR.So i,m back in about a weeks time badder than ever with a silver Tuscan S with sport cansbouncesee ya soon on the freeways of the Cotswoldsdriving

Good move sir. Let us know how you get on. I had a year in the wilderness and cannot recommend it at all.

I know what you mean a boxster is not a TVR. I have had from 1992-1994 a V 8 S from 1994 - 2003 a Griffith and than I bought a boxster. After 2 years I sold the boxster because it was not a TVR. Since 2005 I have a Cerbera 4.2. Just big fun and I´m German.

snap i went from a cerb4.5 to a boxster 's' it seemed a really good idea at the time, but now back in a tuscan rr for the last 8 months and there is no substitute.

A Porsche is an all round far better car than a TVR. But in my opinion, the driving experience of a TVR cannot be beaten.
