Just to say thanks to Elite for sorting the car out (and to Obes for the tip-off).
Really friendly staff who have had experience of Nobles - did it in the time they said they would with a couple of little extras they didn't need to do. If you're in the Northampton area I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

(And they are VERY reasonably priced too!)

24000K service (well 22K, but...), 2 new rear tyres and a small bit of gear linkage work.
...£740!

That service sounds worryingly too low less than half the factory (900), and 2-300 less than Crazy Horses.

I don't know - as far as I could tell they did everything that was required.

It wouldn't be too surprising to me that the factory would be more expensive - they've got to be charging a premium for having their stamp in your book.

I totally agree, and i realise that the service may well be identical to what everyone else does. Just that less than half the price does seem very low How long did it take? Noble wanted 3 days

Plans 6K service is £600 and they are 47 per hr.

Sounds Cheap

They did it over the week, but that was more to do with me not being able to drop off or pick up outside weekends.

That dont sound right confused ...Noble factory is £595 for the 6K service and they are £75 per hour!!!! Was just trying to book my service with the factory...so i know that is correct, as a side note, the factory can no longer provide a courtesy car, which i think is very poor...

This is rubbish, the houly rate is irrelevent, If i charge £50 per hour and take two hours and the bloke down the road charges £100 per hour but takes an hour the cost to the customer is the same. The only thing that matters is how much they charge for the same job.

Don't get conned by people quoting hourly rates.

Well more thanks are heading Elite Motors way..
I took the above recommendations on board and just picked up my car from Elite today after a 24k service and MOT and I'm pleased with the work they've done.
I also had gear linkage clip broke which I wasn't aware off aswell as some other bits and bobs they found and they've sorted them all out.. Thankyou.
The price was very reasonable, the lads working there were pleasant and honest and I'll certainly be going back for any more work which needs doing.

happy customers is wat counts in the end. Agree no courtesy car at factory is very poor. especially the premium you pay over a specialist
